Lamson Guru Fly Reels |
The Guru fly reel is very similar to the Litespeed, but at a lower price! The Guru is a little bit heavier than the Litespeed, but not much heavier. The open spoke frame design keeps the Guru reel light and strong. While this is a true large arbor reel, the spool diameter is slightly smaller than the Litespeed. The Guru's drag design is the same as the Litespeed and other high end Lamson fly reels. The Guru reel has a type II anodization vs the Litespeed's type III, which makes the Litespeed a bit more scratch and corrosive resistant. For the money, this is a great buy!
