Welcome to Off The Hook Fly Shop. We carry a complete line of rods, reels, lines, fly tying materials and accessories.

Off The Hook exists so we can enjoy fly fishing all our waking hours. If we can't be fly fishing ourselves, we get to talk, teach and learn from everyone that comes into our fly shop. We carry everything you need to have a great time fly fishing; not the most expensive equipment, but high quality products you need to catch fish, do it in style and have a good time doing it. We carry fly rods from Highland Mills, TFO, Lefty Kreh; fly reels by Highland Mills, Teton, TFO and Okuma. To put on your reel, we have fly lines from RIO and Teeny. We are the largest supplier of Sierra Fly Company flies. The best flies for the money. If you want to tie your own, we carry fly tying materials, tools and kits. If you're in Central California, we can set you up with guides to fish the Sierra slopes and high country around Lake Tahoe.

Frank Seifert is the owner of Off the Hook Fly Shop. Frank has been fishing since the early '80s. In the '90s he began fishing bass tournaments throughout California, competing in pro-am and team tournaments. However, he has since discovered the joys of fly fishing. Frank loves the tranquility of a small river, the hike to get there, and the strategy it takes to hook a spooky fish. You can still find Frank fishing for bass, but his flipping sticks now share their quarters with his fly rods. If you want to talk fishing, Frank can talk for hours (just ask his wife), so come by the shop to pick his brain or share your stories. Loitering is encouraged!
