The Helios has an excellent drag system. On a recent bonefish trip in the Bahamas, one of the shop cronies took the Helios 7/8 weight reel and had bonefish stripping into the backing. The Helios performed flawlessly.

He also took another brand, a much more expensive reel, that skipped, and froze up, causing him to lose a fish.
