Robert Williams lives in the Sierra foothills near Placerville California. Bob has been tying flies since 1992 and fills special orders from fly fishermen around the world. He teaches fly tying at Off The Hook Fly Shop in Placerville, California. The flies in his artwork are variations of actual fly patterns. The wood comes from many locations--driftwood from the beaches of Oregon, burl wood from trees in the Sierra, and some are pieces he trips over fishing. Each piece is unique and makes for a one of a kind Fly Fishing gift.
